start work in one, so that you gain a better understanding
of the different roles and structures involved in a medical
institution. But if the opportunity to work in one does not

private clinics. Nurses are also in demand in retiring
homes, dialysis centers and at times, even in corporations.
This even includes insurance companies, which employs nurses
as well. With all these options available, you can rest

experience things that you have never done before.
But if you want to do well in nursing, you should also try

National Council Licensure Examination, whereby upon passing
the examination, you immediately become a certified

recognition to your level of knowledge and skill, allowing
you to work in most healthcare institutions. However, before
being able to take this examination, you will first need to
go through a basic program, known as the PN (practical
nurse) program. This program normally lasts a year, and
gives you the basic license that you need to be a qualified
practical nurse. After you have completed this, the next
step you might want to consider taking, is a degree in
nursing. You can either choose from an associate degree or a
Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. These degree programs
are widely available, and depending on your location, you
should be able to find a college or university that offers
these courses. The main difference between these two
qualifications is the duration of the course. For a Bachelor
of Science, you normally need at least four years to
complete the course, whereas if you do an associate degree,
the course lasts a maximum of three years.
For most nursing programs, you should expect a fair amount
of academic work, as well as a generous dose of practical
tutorials. But once you put in the hard work that is
required, you will feel extremely accomplished and
fulfilled. Furthermore, you will be guaranteed of an
excellent career that is backed up with recognized
